Is anyone else having comments from 2010 recommended? Every day or two I get notification saying someone recommended a comment I made here three to five years ago. Who is going through all these old articles recommending posts?

It happens when old articles are linked to in new articles, and that leading to people clicking on said links to read said old articles. It does look weird at first though.

It's happened to me as well and I still wonder why.

sometimes an old article gets linked to a new one and people read through. Weird but a way for gawker to recycle old content it seems. I just find it amusing

With me, I will sometimes do a search on here/Jalopnik after reading soemthing interesting. I'll give stars to anything I like regardless of age! And as the others have said, sometimes an old article will be linked if it's relevant to a new one

I do and have done this on occasion when a new article is linked to an old one.
Not on purpose though, sometimes I just fail to look at the article date.
